Glass Jars

Glass jars are widely used because of their neutral material properties, good product protection and versatile applicability. Suitable for both solid and semi-liquid products across a wide range of filling processes. Glass is a sustainable packaging material recyclable infinitely without loss of quality. In the Netherlands more than 90% of glass is recycled.

Glass jars are manufactured from packaging glass and are suitable for direct contact with food and pharmaceutical products. Glass is: • Tasteless and odourless • Chemically inert • Suitable for products with a longer shelf life Furthermore, glass is suitable for heat treatments such as pasteurisation and sterilisation, depending on the jar and its closure.
Glass jars are available in a variety of standard shapes and can also be custom-made.
